Mr. Gossett is a petroleum engineering professional with over 30 years of success in both small and multi-million exploration and development operations. He has managed company-wide operations and engineering for various oil and gas companies such as Forestar Oil and Gas, a Texas, Oklahoma and Bakken focused E&P. His responsibilities encompassed all phases of operations; drilling, completion, production, work-over, facility design and build out. Mr. Gossett has served in range of engineering and
operational roles for numerous companies, beginning with Getty Oil Company.

Mr. Gossett’s experience includes working in a variety of basins and regions including Texas, the
Midcontinent, Gulf Coast, Rockies, Appalachian and Illinois basins.

 

Prior leadership experience includes $160mm acquisition of Credo Petroleum by Forestar, operations manager of Forestar’s $1.38B development of the Marchand Project in Oklahoma and leading the raising $606mm for the purchase and development of the assets, production (~6500 BOPED) and acreage of a Permian basin oil production company (Driftwood Energy) by Sage Hills Energy, LLC.

 

He has 30+ years of experience in business, information and engineering solutions in the hydrocarbon, government, and systems arenas.

 
Mr. Gossett holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Minerals Engineering with a specialization in
Petroleum Engineering from the University of Alabama. Post graduate course work includes Computer Science, Machine Learning - Data Science Certification and Theology. Since the completion of his B.S. degree, Mr. Gossett has been active in number of professional organizations.
